Mohammad Azharuddin breaks up with his wife Sangeeta Bijlani. They were married for the last 14 years. Jwala Gutta (26), a badminton champ half of Azhar's age is said to the prime reason of their separation.
Currently, Jwala is married to Arjuna Award-winner badminton champ Chetan Anand. Azhar is so much smitten with the badminton player that he has gifted her a BMW.
"Whenever he is in Hyderabad, he is seen in Pullela Gopichand's academy where Jwala practises and they both leave together. They head to some hotel but I am not sure if they stay together in the same room," said a highly-placed source from the Andhra Pradesh Badminton Association.
"Jwala and her husband are not staying together at the moment and are even practising separately," he added. The couple was recently spotted together watching the Asian Badminton Championship in Delhi.
Former cricketer Azhar’s close relationship with Jwala created crack in Azhar-Sangeeta’s married relationship.
Azhar has filed a divorce case. Azhar has got two sons from his first marriage. His first marriage with Naureen lasts for only eight years.
