Manisha Koirala (40), who has acted in a number of Tamil-Telugu movies like Bombay (1995), Criminal (1995), Indian (1996), Mudhalvan (1999), Aalavandhan (2001), Baba (2002), Mumbai Express (2005) and Nagaram (2007), is likely to marry Nepali businessman Samrat Dahal on June 19.
The marriage rumours started spreading after popular Nepali director Dipendra Khanal, whose upcoming film Dharma is to mark the return of Manisha to Nepali films nearly two decades after she left Nepal to storm Bollywood, was quoted as saying: "Mutual acquaintances told me about a week ago that Manisha Koirala was getting married in Nepal."
The wedding will be a three-day extravaganza that is expected to see Mumbai’s stars descend on Kathmandu. The bridegroom was reportedly educated in the US and is a businessman. Manisha, grand-daughter of Nepal’s first elected Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala, is presently shooting in Kerala for a Telugu film and will return to Kathmandu on Friday, he added.
