Rumour is that Prabhu Deva and Nayantara are likely to tie the knot sometime in December, Prabhu Deva's wife Latha aka Ramalath approached the Chennai Family Court on Monday pleading it to direct her husband not to leave her. The move came in the wake of Prabhu Deva admitting his affair and forthcoming marriage with Nayantara.
In her petition, Ramalath accused Prabhu Deva of not taking care of domestic responsibilities and not paying money to run the household expenses after he allegedly fell in love with Nayantara. She also stated in the her plea that Nayantara is spreading rumours that she had offered her Rs. 3.85 crore and jewels to divorce Prabhu Deva and agree for their marriage.
Admitting that she did pick a fight with Nayantara once over phone, Ramlath warned that she would give Nayantara a sound thrashing if they meet. Notably, Prabhu Deva has not divorced Ramalath, nor is the couple legally separated. They were married on September 8, 1995 and had three sons. One of their sons passed away due to cancer.
