Sridevi makes special appearance on ‘Satyamev Jayate’

 Aamir Khan is raising sensitive social issues with his show ‘Satyamev Jayate’. His first episode was based on female infanticide and next he deals with the horrifying real life experiences of sexual abuse by children.

This episode of the show brought into limelight heart breaking story of Harish Aiyer, who he was abused by a man for 11 years. Harish revealed that when he tried to confide in his mother, she didn’t take him seriously. He could handle this horrific phase of his life through the sheer support of his dog and Bollywood movies, especially the ones starring Sridevi.

And what could be a better gift to Harish than make him meet his adorable actress, Sridevi herself. Sridevi made a special appearance on the show for Harish and also gave him a special gift. Harish was obviously elated to meet his favourite star whose screen presence gave him a relief from his tragic life.

There were also other victims on the show. The show was concluded with Aamir explaining the Good Touch, Bad Touch to children to help them evade sexual abuse and to recognize their predators.

The actor also appealed to people to press the government to pass the Protection of Children From Sexual Offences Bill in parliament.
