Basking in the joy of ‘Rowdy Rathore’, success Sonakshi Sinha has joined the bandwagon of item girls. She will shake her legs for the movie titled, ‘Oh My God’. The song will be choreographed by ace choreographer Prabhu Deva and these days the actress is busy doing rehearsals at Yash Raj studio.
The song goes as ‘Go Go Govinda’ and the song requires Sonakshi to do lots of rolling on the ground. It is composed by Himesh Reshammiya. An eyewitness revealed, "The song is four-and half minute long. The steps were very difficult but Sonakshi carried them off really well. By the time the rehearsal ended at around 7.45 pm, she did not look too tired either."
Costumes designer Ashley Robello designed her attire for the song. The shooting has been scheduled for next week. Ashwini Yardi, who is jointly producing the film with Akshay under Grazing Goat Productions praised Sonakshi to the heavens . He showered praises on the actress in the following words, he said, "Sonakshi is a fabulous dancer. To match steps with one of India's best dancers Prabhu Dheva is not easy. Her dedication and effort has to be seen to be believed."
‘Oh My God’ is based on Paresh Rawal's popular Gujarati play Kanji Viruddh Kanji. The play was later remade in Hindi under the name Krishna vs Kanhaiya. Umesh Shukla, who directed both the versions is directing 'Oh My God' where Akshay Kumar will be seen playing Lord Krishna.
