it's perhaps characteristic of Salman Khan's sense of humour that when asked what impelled him to become host of the latest season of Bigg Boss, he launches into a story which leaves the listener hovering between belief and disbelief. With a perfect poker face, he narrates, "My mother told me to do it. She'd had a dream about my nani, who recently passed away. In that dream my nani told her that I should do the show because it would really suit me." It's a joke, obviously and when taxed about pulling the interviewer's leg, Khan responds, "Why would I pull your leg? It's true — even my nana was in that dream. My mother told me so. And I believe everything my mother tells me." At last, a hint of a smile.
