After having its share of controversies with Indian Air Force, Pankaj Kapoor’s ‘Mausam’ has now run into trouble with the Indian Railways.
The Railway Ministry has posed its objection to a particular scene where Shahid Kapoor is seen speeding in a car through an unmanned level crossing in front of an approaching train.
The ministry has expressed its concern saying that this may encourage the youth of the country in such rash actions and add the number of mishaps at unmanned crossings. Railway Ministry wants the makers to a disclaimer that they do not endorse such acts and these should not be replicated.
“The scene apart, we are also concerned over the fact that it is enacted by actor Shahid Kapoor who is popular among the youths,” said a senior railway official, adding, a letter would be sent to the film unit soon.
