Hansika offered Rs. 1.2 crores for an item song

Hansika Motwani has reportedly been offered a whopping Rs. 1.2 crores to feature in a hot item number opposite Vikram in his upcoming project Rajapattai, directed by Susindran with Deeksha Seth and Mithra Kurian as the heroines.

But the act ress is said to have rejected the proposal, stating that she is not in the industry just to make money!

"I am not here for money. I will never do an item song even if they offer me big money. And that’s the precise reason I didn’t even pay proper attention to the conversation when they called," the actress was quoted as saying.

The song is said to be a raunchy number and the director felt it would have more impact for a star to shake a leg with Vikram instead of any popular item girls, it is heard.
