However, Josh Hutcherson has a bit more to gain that his co-stars. The 19-year-old Kentucky native is the least known of the three actors, and is about to have his world turned upside down by the series’ dedicated fans.
Jennifer Lawrence, who plays Panem heroine, Katniss Everdeen, caught fans and critics attention when she was nominated for an Oscar in 2011 for her work in “Winters Bone.”
Meanwhile, Liam Hemsworth stole the hearts of girls everywhere in 2010’s “The Last Song,” in which he co-starred with his now girlfriend, Miley Cyrus.
However, Josh Hutcherson, wasn’t among Hollywood’s hottest young stars, and mostly flew under the radar, until rumors of a romance with Vanessa Hudgens surfaced in late 2011.
Hutcherson, is reportedly the only single one of the trio, and plays the role of beloved Peeta Mellark in “The Hunger Games.” This means that the girls will be going crazy, and will have a face to put with the character of the love struck District 12 baker.
Watch for Josh’s fame to sore, fan base to grow, and career to skyrocket due to his performance in “Hunger Games.” He, Hemsworth, and Lawrence are about to embark on a wild ride. Hopefully, they’re up for the challenged.
