After banning movies like Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger and Saif Ali Khan's Agent Vinod, Pakistan censor board has banned the promos of Akshay Kumar's upcoming film Khiladi 786. Number 786 is revered by Muslims and it is said that the film could hurt their sentiments.
The Censor board of Pakistan has also ordered cinema halls not to release Khiladi 786 trailers and also told the distributors to remove the billboards of the film. Censor Board Chairman Raja Mustafa Haider told a leading daily, "The appearance of banners for the film in Rawalpindi and other areas was brought to my notice and I asked the City District Government Rawalpindi to remove all of them."
However, Haider also says that the Censor Board had managed to convince distributors to release the film without using the number 786. The movie can still get banned if it has any objectionable scenes or dialogues. Khiladi 786 will hit the screens on 7th December.
