Why Sylvester Stallone paid millions of dollar to half-sister?

 Sylvester Stallone had allegedly abused his half sister Toni-Ann Filiti for years and also paid her millions of dollars when she started blackmailing the superstar.

According to sources, Toni-Ann Filiti, who died last August from lung cancer at the age of 48, and Sylvester had made a confidential multimillion-dollar agreement over allegations that the latter abused her for years.

However, Sylvester’s close friends have said that the settlement was the result of a "shakedown", contactmusic.com reported.

As per the agreement papers, 16 years ago the actor agreed to give his half-sister 2 million dollars plus 16,666.66 dollars per month for her lifetime. In the paper, Filiti has made "claims for personal injury, including physical injury" against Stallone, but her half-brother "vigorously denied and continues to deny and dispute all claims of wrongdoing."

Toni-Ann’s mother Jacqueline Stallone also refuted the rumours, saying "This was nothing more than a shakedown. Toni-Ann was on 65 Oxycontin pills a day, and she threatened Sylvester. A drug addict will do anything".
