Court issued fresh notice to Prabhu Deva and Nayantara

Chennai Family Court issued a fresh notice to actors Prabhu Deva and Nayantara to appear in the court on November 23 in connection to a case filed by Prabhu Deva's wife Latha aka Ramalath, seeking the court’s direction to restrain her husband and Nayantara from marrying each other.

The court earlier summoned the actors to appear before the court today (October 19) at 11.30 a.m., but the couple did not turn up at the court when the case came up for hearing. However, Latha was present.

In her petition, Latha sought the court to direct her husband Prabhu Deva and Nayantara not to give public interviews or joint photographs or declare themselves to be as husband and wife either in the media or in public, till the disposal of her petition seeking restoration of her conjugal rights.

“The media people were fuming by that time and they refused to stay back. Saif did apologise to them, explaining that they were stuck in traffic. But none of them understood why it took Saif and Kareena over two hours to reach Juhu from their Bandra residence. The distance can be covered in half an hour,” he added.

The media relation manager of the event, said, “Yes, the media did boycott the event. It was very unfortunate. Saif and Kareena were genuinely stuck in traffic and the media were constantly being updated about the same. But one particular photographer, who had personal vendetta against them, instigated the entire media to leave.”
