Demi Lovato, star of Disney’s Sonny With A Chance, has reached a settlement with allegedly abused back-up dancer, Alex Welch. There have been rumors of a previous settlement between them, but now it seems official.
Alex Welch has reportedly received a settlement in the incident where she was allegedly punched by the teen star, states TMZ. Welch’s attorney, Donald Karpel, has reportedly commented that the matter has been settled and both groups are satisfied.
The settlement dictates that Welch receive some amount of money, but the amount is still undisclosed. Welch was famously punched right in the eye by the Disney star after rumors of late night partying surfaced and the star became suspicious.
Welch’s attorney, Donald Karpel, had this to say, “The parties are satisfied and the dispute has been resolved amicably and completely,” TMZ reports.
