SRK itching to do romantic film

Bollywood’s king of romance Shah Rukh Khan has been doing hardcore stunts for his upcoming films ‘RA.One’ and ‘Don 2′, and says now he desperately wants to do a ‘soft romantic’ film.

‘I have been doing a lot of stunts of late but I am not tired of doing them. Honestly, now I am tired of promoting my film ‘RA.One’,’ Shah Rukh said on the sidelines of the Global Indian Music Awards (GIMA) at Kingdom of Dreams here Thursday night.

‘I went through a special drill to master the stunts that I did in both the films – ‘Ra.One’ and ‘Don 2′,’ he added.

‘I have been working really hard all this while and I must say the stuntmen have really helped me a lot to pull off all the action sequences,’ the actor said.

‘Now, I am really looking forward to a soft romantic film,’ added the 45-year-old, who played the perfect lover in films like ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’, ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ and ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’, among others.

‘RA.One’, a superhero film, has been directed by Anubhav Sinha and stars Shah Rukh, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal. The film is slated for release Oct 26.

‘Don 2: The Chase Continues’, an action thriller starring Priyanka Chopra, will release Dec 23.
