Shahrukh Khan detained again at US airport

Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan said he was detained for two hours at a New York airport on Thursday.

He arrived at New York's White Plain airport in a private plane on Thursday to deliver a lecture at Yale University. According to officials, Khan was stopped for two hours for his immigration clearance.

The university officials had to intervene and get Khan out of the airport with the help of the Department of Homeland Security and the Immigration and Customs Department in Washington.

While addressing the students at the university, Khan confirmed the news and said he was 'detained' at the airport 'as it always happens'.

In 2009, Khan was detained and grilled for two hours at Newark Airport as he was heading to Chicago to participate in an Independence Day celebration.
