The Best Actor award went to Ranbir Kapoor for Rockstar
Newcomer Parineeti Chopra, cousin of actress Priyanka Chopra, bagged two awards including Best Debut and Best Supporting Actress for her role in Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl. Parineeti, who has won accolades for her recent release Ishaqzaade, broke down after she received her second award of the evening.
Show's host Farhan Akhtar won Best Supporting Actor for Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.
No prizes for guessing the Best Director, it was Zoya Akhtar. She beat brother Farhan, who was also nominated in the category, to bag the coveted trophy.
Veteran actress Rekha and director Ramesh Sippy won the Lifetime Achievement awards respectively.
Vidyut Jamwal won Best Debut (Male) for Force and National Award winner Prakash Raj won Best Actor in a Negative Role for Singham.
