The Academy award nominated `Hulk` star has been dating the Canada-born producer since 2005 and he popped the big question while holidaying in India three weeks ago, reported New York Post online.
The 41-year-old actor and Robertson, 37, are one of the most low-key couples of Hollywood and rarely make red carpet appearances together.
Norton, has dated many celebrated beauties, including Salma Hayek whom he had reportedly married in a secret ceremony before their break-up and `Hole` rocker Courtney Love, who was once his fiancee.
And Love has weighed in on the new development in her ex-fiance`s life.
"It`s about time. He`s 41, they`ve been together for six years. He needs to have babies. I wonder what kind of ring he got her? He bought me a ruby," said Love.
