Singer Jessica Simpson has revealed that she wants to have a low-key wedding with her NFL fiance Eric Johnson and that they might even elope.
Jessica rashly got engaged to Eric Johnson after only six months of dating, with the ink barely dry on his divorce papers. While she says a wedding isn’t in the near future, she also hints toward a possible elopment.
Simpson, 31, who had previously hinted that she intends to be married by this Christmas, but is yet to set a date, tells Women's Wear Daily that she and Johnson, 31, are both taking their time.
She told WWD, “No date has been set yet. We’ve both been married before. We’re enjoying our commitment to each other. We want to take our time,” said Simpson. “We might elope if it gets to that point. We’re very relaxed,” she says. “It takes a lot to get us stressed out. We talk through everything. You’ll see him off in the corner, and what’s Eric doing? He’s just meditating.”
