Shahrukh Khan nods Poonam Pandey’s strip act for KKR

Poonam Pandey expressed her exuberance over the IPL win of Kolkata Knight Riders by stripping naked on Twitter. The team’s owner Shahrukh Khan has now given a rather grudging nod to Poonam’s dare-to-bare-it-all act.

When asked to react on Poonam’s stripping act for KKR, Shahrukh Khan reportedly said: “Everybody's got different ways of celebrating happiness. So I can't comment on her (Poonam’s) way of celebrating happiness, like I wanted to fly and also wanted to take off my shirt. So if anybody is celebrating on behalf of our team, we are very happy unless it gets us into legal trouble for saying that.”

Poonam Pandey had posted online a nude photo of hers on Monday to celebrate the IPL victory of Kolkata Knight Riders. She was rooting for the team in the finals, and had promised in advance that she would go naked if KKR won.

The rest, as they say, is history, but yes, the nude photo did make Poonam Pandey one of the hot searches on the net. The girl sure does know how to stay relevant and in the news.
