First Lady Michelle Obama is the top choice of professional event planners to walk the red carpet at an event in 2011, according to a new survey conducted by BizBash.
She beats Lady Gaga, Angelina Jolie, and even ex-President Bill Clinton and former Alaska governor Sarah Palin in the list.
Mrs. Obama was chosen over a list of celebrities in the survey, which asked readers their top choice to walk the red carpet at one of their events in the coming year.
The First Lady garnered 25 percent of the votes. Following her is Clinton, who took 13 percent, while Palin got 2 percent at 10th place.
BizBash editor-in-chief Chad Kaydo said, "I suspect our readers choose the first lady because of her personal style, but also because she has an authenticity about the projects that she gets behind."
"If you saw her at an event, you would feel she genuinely believed in its purpose. And unlike Jersey cast, she doesn't go wherever she can pick up a check."
Rounding up the top 5 are Lady Gaga, Betty White and Angelina Jolie.
