Kareena: not to imitate her love life in ‘Heroine’

Kareena Kapoor had no inhibitions about taking up a loosely based biography on Marlyn Monroe’s life, but when parts of that biography came too close to imitating her real life she decided to back out. The actress, who is stated to be in talks with Madhur Bhandarkar for ‘Heroine’, has directed the filmmaker to change a track in the film that comes too close to her life.

As per reports, Kareena feels that the track in the film mirrors her life with her boyfriend Saif Ali Khan. And this is said to be the chief reason why she is still keeping Bhandarkar at bay.

Confirming the news a source said, “Kareena has conveyed to Madhur that a leading track in the film which finds her in a relationship with a top Bollywood hero who has two kids and is separated from his wife resembles too much what is happening in her life, vis-a-vis her involvement with Saif.”

As for Kareena not wanting to film lovemaking scenes with the five men for the flick, the source said, “That is a small reason and that can be shot aesthetically. Kareena too knows that.”

As of now Kareena and Madhur are expected to meet in the third week of this month. “But a samjhauta (compromise) is not likely. While Kareena is adamant on her stand, Madhur too won’t budge. Aise chala toh yeh film shaayad banegi hi nahi,” adds the source.
