Adam Lambert’s recent string of international success doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. He was recently voted as the #2 performer of the year by readers in the city of Manila in the Philippines.
While he may be only number two for his awesome performance of his Glam Nation tour, he still tops all Americans who have performed in the city. To snag this honor Lambert had to beat out Usher, Timbaland, and John Mayer among others. Apparently, American Idol is still a global force in name recognition, according to Examiner.
After so many success this year, Adam Lambert is getting yet another huge nod. He will be joining the likes of Michael Jackson and Train on the 2011 Grammy album, one of the biggest accomplishments of his career.
The album will be released on January 27.
