Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are reportedly boycotting this year's Oscars after an alleged falling-out with the ceremony's host Anne Hathaway. The Love And Other Drugs star did an impersonation of Holmes on Saturday Night Live back in November, and the couple are said to have been less than pleased with the sketch.
A source told the Mail on Sunday that the couple feel doubly betrayed as they acted as a shoulder for Hathaway to cry on during her split from convicted conman Raffaello Follieri in 2008. "Tom and Katie don't want to have to cross paths with Anne.
Katie feels they were really supportive at a difficult time, so she feels let down that Anne took to national TV to make fun of her," the insider said. "Anne didn't even warn her it was going to be on TV. The whole thing has left a sour taste with Tom."
A spokesperson for Cruise declined to comment of the story but in regards to their attendance said: "It's too early to confirm - it depends on shoot schedules."
